Chinese New Year Celebration 2019

On February 8, 2019, TBSI scholars and staff, as well as other students, attended a Chinese New Year celebration at Holly’s Mandarin Restaurant.

As many of TBSI’s scholars hail from China, this event was a good opportunity not only to celebrate Chinese culture’s most celebrated holiday but also for scholars to introduce other students to Chinese culture and cuisine, such as Beijing roast duck and West Lake soup.

This intercultural exchange fostered a shared moment of bonding for staff, students, and scholars alike.
