Excursion Day

On Wednesday, July 23, the attendees will take a break from the technical session to tour the wine country, north of San Francisco.  Buses will depart at 12 noon following an early lunch at Sutardja Dai Hall.  Only those with badges showing that they are registered for the excursion will be boarded on the buses.  Accompanying family members, who have picked up their badges before Wednesday, are requested to stop at the registration desk during lunch.

Campus Transportation

Walking: 

Sutardja Dai Hall can easily be reached by a 15-20 minute walk through the campus from the two hotels where the conference attendees will be staying, and from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.

Travel

Airports: San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) serve the San Francisco Bay Area, where UC Berkeley is located.

Public transport is available from these airports to the city of Berkeley.

Venue

The 2018 International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop (iNOW 2018) will take place on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). 

The technical sessions will be held in the Banatao Auditorium, located on the third floor of Sutardja Dai Hall.
